The Emporia State basketball teams welcomed Hornet fans to White Auditorium for the 2025-26 season at Late Night at White on Wednesday and fans left excited and energized for the season. A large student section participated in games and activities and saw Emporia State basketball show flashes of what could be a very fun year. Dallas Bear caught fire hitting several three’s in a row during the men’s scrimmage while the women chose to run transition drills showcasing the team’s uptempo style. First-year head coach MJ Baker was excited by the turnout and energy from the crowd.
Men’s second-year coach Tom Billeter said the event’s only going to get better.
