The Emporia State soccer team had eight land on the All-MIAA squad for 2025. Abby Bachman made the All-MIAA Second Team at defender, Ella Favot made the same squad at midfielder, and Megan Kephart was Second Team at forward. Bachman has been playing in the midfield the last few games for the Lady Hornets and has played in every match starting 17 this year. Favot finished the regular season with six goals in her freshman campaign. Kephart accounted for 16 points this year and 14 came in MIAA play. Mackenzi Goen (goalie), Peyton PIpes (defender), Ruby Ryan (defender), Madeline Bracy (midfield), and Sammy Quiroz (midfield) all earned honorable mention honors. ESU returns to Washburn in the first round of the MIAA Tournament Sunday. The Lady Hornets wrapped up this season this week in the Turnpike Tussle and fought Washburn to a scoreless draw. Kickoff in the postseason is set for 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
