Formal charges are pending for two Emporia men recently arrested, one on suspicion of drug distribution and another on suspicion of trafficking contraband.
Early Friday morning, Emporia Police officers arrested 29-year-old Cain Isaias Arzate on suspicion of distribution, paraphernalia possession and aggravated child endangerment. On Saturday evening, officers arrested 42-year-old Gregory Michael Webster on suspicion of trafficking contraband in a correctional or care facility, interference with law enforcement, marijuana possession and failure to appear.
Details about both cases are pending. Court dates have not posted to the District Court Public Access Portal.
