The Emporia State volleyball team is back in the AVCA Division II Top 25 Poll following their upset victory at #3 Nebraska-Kearney on Saturday. ESU is ranked #24 in the country and has a 20-5 record with all five of their losses to teams that are ranked or receiving votes in the current poll. Tampa is a unanimous #1 with all 47 first-place votes followed by Point Loma, Wayne State College, Barry, and Nebraska-Kearney. From the MIAA, Central Oklahoma is #7 followed by Washburn at #8, Missouri Western at #16, and the Lady Hornets at #24. Central Missouri is receiving votes this week. ESU begins their final week at home facing the #7 Bronchos at White Auditorium Thursday. First serve is set for 6:00 p.m.
