The Emporia State basketball team has announced two signings on National Signing Day. Head men’s coach Tom Billeter has added Ayden Jensen from Downs, Ill. and Luke Weemer, a forward from Fishers, Ind. Jensen is a 6-8 forward who scored 16 points and averaged 6.5 rebounds per game as a junior at Tri-Valley High School while Weemer averaged 11 points and 4.7 rebounds per game as a junior at Hamilton Southeastern High School. He also shot 42% from outside the arc last year. Emporia State opens the season Friday against Wayne State College at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillyard Classic in St. Joseph, Mo. Coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. on 1400 AM/96.9 FM KVOE.
