Madison residents are noticing some changes in the town’s longstanding recycling procedures.
Karri Kimberlin and her husband, Kelly, have been involved with the city’s recycling program since 1998. On KVOE’s Morning Show this week, Karri Kimberlin said Madison has a new recycling trailer — and along with that, some updated guidance on how to recycle.
Madison residents can bring items, but they should not be bagged.
And with Christmas ahead, Kimberlin reminds residents not to try recycling holiday wrapping paper.
The trailer is stationed at Madison City Park, arriving Tuesday and available all day Wednesdays for residents. The trailer is awaiting a cover. Depending on when it arrives, the trailer may not be available in cases of inclement weather.
