Formal charges are pending against an Emporia man after an arrest indicating human trafficking activity.
Emporia Police officers arrested 42-year-old Patrick Dewayne Rosenberg on Thursday on suspicion of aggravated trafficking with a tag of kidnapping a victim above the age of 14. Rosenberg was also arrested on suspicion of one count of aggravated sexual battery and another of contributing to a child’s misconduct.
Further details have not been released. Emporia Police says this is an active investigation, so nothing will likely be divulged until or unless formal charges are filed.
