SNAP benefits may be loaded, but the United Way of the Flint Hills continues its work to help people in need.
That work now includes a baby formula drive through Dec. 19 as organized by the Food Relief Rapid Response Team. Residents are encouraged to donate Similac-branded items, including Advance, Sensitive, Soy Isomil and Total Comfort, as well as PediaSure. Residents are asked to bring formula and drinks to the Flint Hills Technical College Student Success Center at 3301 West 18th.
Residents can also donate money, either by going online to unitedwayoftheflinthills.org/form/donate or by using a QR code on the United Way of the Flint Hills Facebook page.
