Emporia State junior linebacker Landon Boss is now a three-time MIAA Football Defensive Player of the Week. Boss wrapped up the season with a career-high 14 tackles, two sacks, and a whopping seven quarterback hurries in a 13-7 loss to Fort Hays State on Saturday. Boss finished the year with 10 sacks to lead the MIAA and wrapped up the season with 100 total tackles. He lead the league in tackles for loss and is also the conference leader in solo tackles. He ranks 11th or better nationally in all three of those stats and is fourth in ESU history in single-season sacks and tackles for loss.
