The high school volleyball season has been completed. Two area athletes received recognition for their play on the court.
Emily Criqui, from Marais des Cygnes Valley, was named First Team Kansas Volleyball Association in Class 1A Division 2. The sophomore outside hitter led MdCV to the top seed in the State Tournament in Emporia. She averaged over six kills and nearly five digs a set.
Ally Peek, from Lebo, was Honorable Mention Kansas Volleyball Association in Class 1A Division 2. The senior was used as an outside hitter and setter in 2025.
