The Lyon County Highway Department has closed two road segments in the southern part of the county.
The Highway Department started work Monday on Road M between Roads 75 and 80. It starts work Tuesday on Road 30 between Kansas Highway 99 and Road N.
The exact nature of these construction projects has not been announced. Both road segments are closed until projects are completed. There are no tentative timetables with either project.
