Emporia’s Harley Smith will continue her athletic and academic career at Emporia State. The senior will run track for the Lady Hornets.
Smith finished tenth in the 5A 100M dash as a junior. She also qualified for the state meet in the 200M and 400M. In her final year, she wants to be faster all around.
Familiarity was a big factor in the decision.
Emporia T&F coach Randy Wells knows they got a good one.
But he’s excited to have her for one more year,
