Two Emporia teenagers recently received probation for their involvement in an attempted robbery earlier this year.
Cristian Cervantes and Zuriel Trujillo got 9-month probation terms. Violations could result in 18-month terms in a juvenile correction facility.
Cervantes and Trujillo were accused of accosting a man outside a gas station in mid-August. Both pleaded no contest to attempted aggravated robbery as part of a plea agreement reached last month.
