The Emporia State women’s basketball team answered a big Quincy run with one of their own to win their third-straight game on Tuesday. Quincy soared to the halftime lead with a 20-4 run in the second quarter, but the Lady Hornets answered with a 30-6 run that spanned over 11 minutes in the second half to clip the Hawks 75-62 at White Auditorium. The run for ESU included four-minute span where E-State ran over the Hawks for 16-straight points.
