Emporia State junior linebacker Landon Boss has been named the 2025 D2CCA Super Region 4 Defensive Player of the Year. The Osage City native is 1st Team All-Super Region 4 after being named the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year. He registered 100 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss with ten sacks in 2025 while accounting for five turnovers. He was ranked in the top ten nationally in tackles for loss and solo stops while earning the second-most sacks in the Super Region. Harding led SR4 with nine players on the team with Northwest Missouri and Pittsburg State each placing four players to tie for the second most honorees.
