Kids — if you want some time with Santa and Mrs Claus, the Emporia Public Library is ready for you.
The library has its annual Breakfast With Santa from 9-11 am. Director Pauline Stacchini says there will be a lot for families to enjoy.
There were some conversations about moving the event offsite due to upcoming work on restrooms, but that project is now beginning after the holidays.
Entry will be at the east doors. Once Santa and Mrs Claus disappear out the door, the library’s event schedule includes the Page Turners Book Club meeting at 10 am Dec. 9, the Queer Book Club meeting at 5:30 pm Dec. 17 and Library Laser Tag for middle school and high school students at 7 pm Dec. 18.
