Another Democrat is looking to challenge incumbent US Senator Roger Marshall in next year’s election cycle.
Kansas City, Kansas, businessman and entrepreneur Erik Murray announced his campaign this week, saying Marshall and other Republicans are ignoring issues like housing, increasing healthcare costs, difficulties in the farm economy and other concerns.
Marshall is currently the only Republican who has filed, according to the Federal Election Commission. Murray joins an increasingly-crowded field of Democrats wanting the seat, including Christy Davis, Sandy Neumann, Lois Parelkar and Michael Soetart.
