A man arrested in Osage County last week as part of an effort involving US Marshals and the Kansas Highway Patrol is into the court process in Franklin County.
Scott Phillips was arrested at an unlisted location in Osage County on Dec. 3 after an alleged chase, leading to official charges of flee and elude, possession of methamphetamine and failing to yield. Sheriff Jeff Richards tells KVOE News Phillips also had unlisted outstanding warrants from elsewhere in Kansas and the investigation continues into the possible addition of charges later.
Phillips had a custody hearing Tuesday and is tentatively set for a status conference Jan. 8.
