The new owners of the former L&L Pets store in downtown Emporia had plans to remain anonymous. Online records aren’t allowing that.
Del5ive LLC is listed on Lyon County records as the new owner. Plans for the roughly 3,000-square-foot building are not being divulged at this time.
Prior owner Jason Crumb listed the business at 621 Commercial in early May, citing a decline in foot traffic, supply chain issues and a constant battle with online retailers as reasons for the sale. Lane and Lisa Hollern started the pet store in 1982, before selling to Crumb in 2018.
