The Kansas Board of Regents is coming to Emporia to select a new president for Emporia State University on Thursday.
Board members will officially meet at 10 am at the Memorial Union Webb Hall. The purpose is to vote on the university’s next president. Media availability will follow the vote and announcement.
The new president will follow Ken Hush, who is retiring later this month after leading ESU the last four years.
The Regents were recently given four finalists to consider after the university’s President Search Committee handled several months’ worth of prelimninary work, including surveys, interviews with the campus and city community and semifinalist interviews.
KVOE will have on-air coverage on 1400 AM/96.9 FM as well as online coverage through KVOE.com/TV and YouTube.com@kvoenews.
