If you’re planning to get a Christmas tree from the Flint Hills Optimists, you’re officially running out of time.
Spokesman Bob Burenheide says there were about 20 trees as of 9 am Tuesday, along with some garland and a few wreaths. With limited supply across the board, Burenheide says the Optimists will have the lot at Guion’s Showcase open from 5:30-7 pm both Tuesday and Wednesday to close down the fundraiser. Remaining items will be available at a 30-percent discount.
Burenheide says club members plan to clean up the site and tear down their area Saturday.
