Emporia State junior linebacker Landon Boss has been named a First Team All-American by the American Coaches Association, the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, and the Associated Press. The Osage City, Kan. native previously was a First Team All-MIAA honoree at linebacker and was the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year. Boss tallied 101 tackles with 10 sacks, 11 hurries, two interceptions while forcing two fumbles and returning one pick for a touchdown. He led the MIAA in sacks and tackles for loss and was second in the league in solo tackles. It is the fourth-straight season that ESU football has had at least one Hornet earn All-American status.
