Early court processes have started in a Lyon County criminal case involving charges of aggravated human trafficking, commercial exploitation of a child, aggravated sexual battery and other counts.
Emporian Patrick Rosenberg had his first appearance in Lyon County District Court on Wednesday and was set for a preliminary hearing Feb. 4.
Rosenberg, age 42, faces 12 charges, including single counts of aggravated trafficking to hire a child under age 14 for sexual acts, indecent solicitation, aggravated sexual battery and attempted commercial sexual exploitation of a child. There are two counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a child and three counts each of contributing to a child’s misconduct and furnishing alcohol to minors. Rosenberg allegedly dealt with three children ranging in age from 14 to 17 last month.
Case details are sealed due to the nature of the charges.
