Lyon County Commissioners have a brief agenda ahead for their upcoming Christmas Eve meeting.
Commissioners will have two items to consider, including a request for permission from IT Director Jean Barnett to sign the contract for remote monitoring and management software and mobile device management software. Signing the contract before New Year’s Eve will allow the county to utilize a three-month promotion for the services with no money being owed until April.
Separately, commissioners will consider a request from Lyon County Controller Dan Williams to cancel a purchase from November 30 to Gerald Schumann Electric Inc. totaling more than $22,000 for cleaning electrical switchgears, as the company is unable to provide said services.
The meeting will begin at 9 am Wednesday inside the Lyon County Courthouse Commission Chambers.
