Nobody was hurt after a crash caused a relatively short traffic delay in far west Emporia.
A semi overturned on the Kansas Turnpike’s southbound onramp at Emporia. The semi was not blocking traffic, although the ramp was blocked for about an hour to get it completely clear.
It is currently unclear why the semi overturned.

Southbound traffic on the Kansas Turnpike at Emporia may be more congested than normal for a time Friday after a semi overturned.
The incident was reported around 8:30 am. The semi is not blocking traffic, but work now underway to upright and move the semi has the entry ramp blocked until further notice.
