Emporia State linebacker Landon Boss has completed the sweep of all six Division II college football All-American honors. Tuesday he added a sixth award when he landed on the D2Football.com Elite 100 list. Boss was already a consensus All-American with honors from the AFCA, AP, D2CCA, and Don Hansen Football Committee. He later added to it with an All-American award from the Walter Camp Football Foundation. The Osage City native was the MIAA and Super Region IV Defensive Player of the Year after a season that included 101 tackles, 10 sacks, 11 hurries, two forced fumbles, two interceptions including a pick six. It’s the second-straight year a Hornet has swept through all six major All-American awards after Tyler Kahmann pulled off the feat in 2024.
