The Hartford Jaguars held on for an exciting 57 to 54 victory over the Lebo Wolves on Friday in Hartford.
The Jaguars jumped out to an 8 to 0 lead led in a large part by Coy Wilkinson. Lebo rode the hot hand of Brock Hadley to tie it up at 13 after 1. Lebo then took a 24 to 19 lead at the half. Hartford got off to a fast start in 3rd behind 6 straight points from Landon Schultz. The Jaguars led 41 to 35 after 3.
The 4th quarter was a back and forth affair. Carson Menke hit 2 free throws with 5 seconds to go to too give Hartford a 3 point lead. Jett Edwards for Lebo had his 3.pointer go off of the rim.as time expired and the Jaguars held for a 57 to 54 victory.
Hartford had 2 players in double figures led by Coy Wilkinson with 24 and Keanen Renfro had 15. Lebo had 3 players in double figures, Brock Hadley had 18 and Gerack Reber and Jadyn Blount with 12 points each.
Lebo falls to 3 and 5 overall, and 1-3 in the LCL. Hartford moves to 9-1 overall and 4-1 in the LCL
Lebo won the girl’s contest by forfeit as Hartford didn’t have enough girls.
