Emporia’s Community Housing Board and Land Bank will have separate meetings Thursday.
The Housing Board will meet first to discuss housing metrics and stats for new construction, vacancies and other items. Board members will also discuss housing development goals such as increasing owner-occupied housing units, decreasing vacant units, public access and rental registration issues.
The Land Bank meeting will focus on marketing a house at 301 Sunnyslope, options for another home at 115 South Neosho and a potential infill new construction project for a home at 417 State.
The meeting slate begins at 9:30 am Thursday at the White Auditorium Wheeler Conference Room, formerly known as City Conference Room 1AB.
