There’s a new resident at the David Traylor Zoo.
Staff have announced the presence of Dolly, a 10-month-old White Galloway cow coming from Half-Pint Hooves Miniature Cattle in Reading. The zoo is thanking Kinsey Jones and Modern Air for bringing Dolly to the fold.
Dexters are from County Kerry in Ireland. Males can get up to around 1,000 pounds. Females can be as heavy as 850 pounds.
Dolly joins Axl, the zoo’s mini-Highland steer, as well as the zoo’s llamas and bison as hooved animals.
