Formal charges are pending against an Emporia man accused of internet crimes against at least one child.
Emporia Police officers arrested 21-year-old Alexander Ballenger on Friday on suspicion of internet trading in child sex abuse materials and sexual exploitation of a child.
Officers are not releasing additional information about this case at this time. Information about alleged crimes involving sexual matters is also typically sealed if charges are indeed filed.
