The US Department of Agriculture says a new online tool was designed with transparency in mind.
Deputy Secretary Stephen Vaden unveiled the Lender Lens on the USDA’s Rural Data Gateway. The USDA says this is an important step because id displays the Rural Development Department’s full commercial guaranteed loan portfolio to the public, as well as commercial lending stakeholders and guaranteed borrowers. Vaden says Lender Lens will give people “a clear view” as to where the federal government is making investments. The dashboard will also demonstrate different metrics like total loan volume, average loan size, delinquency rates and “geographic spread.”
This is the latest addition to the Rural Data Gateway, which was developed in 2023. Click here for the information link.
