USD 253 Board of Education members finalized action that began during their regularly scheduled board meeting a week earlier during a special meeting Wednesday night.
Following three executive sessions, the board approved the following action motioned by Board Member Jeremy Dorsey:
“I move to finalize the termination of the employment contract of Gary Croucher, effective January 21, 2026.” The motion was approved unanimously.
This action followed an executive session and a similar motion at the board’s meeting last week, with members citing “violations of board policies, terms and conditions of employment” as the cause of the termination. Due to confidentiality, the board had no further comment on the situation.
