Emporia State junior outfielder Noah Steele has been named to D2 Baseball’s Preseason All-American Team heading into the 2026 season. Steele earned a Second Team honor after ranking in the top ten in the MIAA in five offensive categories in 2025. Steele led the Hornets hitting .368 last year with 15 home runs while driving in 53 with a .460 on base percentage and slugging .684. The Hornets open the season with four games in Tucson, Ariz. beginning Friday at 1:30 p.m. against Adams State.
