The USD 253 Emporia Board of Education will meet offsite Wednesday.
Board members are having their annual meeting at the Emporia High School library. Agenda topics include a policy reading for a letter of intent with the Emporia Police Department for a School Resource Officer, as well as a report from Superintendent David McGehee and an executive session to evaluate McGehee’s early performance since he took over the leadership role this past summer. An update on e-sports at Emporia High School is also planned.
The meeting starts at 7 pm and will not be live-streamed.
