Emporia boys wrestling secured 15th out of 20 schools Saturday at the Chanute Invite.
Two freshmen had strong days for the Black and Red. Bryan Cubias (132) claimed bronze while Takeo Medrano (106) finished fifth. Kolton Wyatt (113) added a fifth placement with Garret LeBlanc (165) securing sixth.
Emporia takes on the Centennial League Tournament next on Saturday, February 7 at Washburn Rural.
