Emporia swimming competed at Maize South Saturday.
It was an extremely competitive meet. The best showing for EHS was in the 400 Free Relay. Fresh off a state qualifying time earlier in the week, Brayden Shaw, Chesney Erkel, Beckett Shultz and Luke Marshall claimed seventh. Marshall added a 13th place finish in the 50 Free (24.96) while Erkel secured 16th at the 500 Free (6:16.41).
The Spartans travel to Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka for the Centennial League meet Thursday.
