An Emporia man recently arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation has now been charged.
Nicholas Aaron Rodriguez faces two counts of sexually exploiting a child who was no older than 16 years old at the time of the alleged crimes last year. Court documents alleged Rodriguez exhibited either actual or simulated sexual activity between early August and early November 2025.
Rodriguez is also facing 14 counts of violating protective orders from late September and early November 2025 and again earlier this month.
A first official court appearance is set for Monday afternoon in Lyon County District Court.
