Agbokpah Named MIAA Women's Track Athlete of the Week

Emporia State sprinter Stella Agbokpah has been named the MIAA Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.  The Ghana freshman set a school record last weekend at the Bearcat Invite.  Her time of 24.06 broke her own school record as she finished second in the 200m dash invitational.  Her time is the best in the MIAA this year and is the sixth-best time in NCAA DII this year.  Her time of 7.63 in the 60m dash tied herself for the second-best time in Lady Hornet history as she finished sixth on Saturday.  Emporia State returns to the track at the Russ Jewett Indoor Gorilla Classic beginning on Friday.
