An Overland Park man faces drug and weapons charges in Morris County after being arrested late last month.
Tyler John Dalke is formally charged with distributing up to 450 grams of marijuana, as well as possessing marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia. Dalke is also charged with criminal use of weapons and speeding.
Council Grove Police Chief Shawn Wangerin says officers handled a traffic stop in the 300 block of East Main on Jan. 30. Following a positive alert from Morris County’s K-9 Kimber, officers arrested Dalke. Wangerin says there was additional investigation at Dalke’s apartment in Overland Park with Council Grove and Overland Park officers involved. Wangerin says there were large but unspecified amounts of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, firearms and US currency seized.
A preliminary hearing is set for 10:30 am in Council Grove.
