No injuries were reported, but a pickup truck is a total loss after a fire Sunday afternoon.
Emporia Fire responded to the Kansas Turnpike Emporia service exit at mile marker 132 after noon. Battalion Chief Ryan Conley says the pickup had an apparent mechanical issue before the engine compartment caught fire.
No other damage was reported.
