The Area and Emporia Athlete of the Week awards were announced on Monday.
Lahna Passmore from Chase County is the Area Athlete of the Week.. The wrestler won the 321A East Regional at 115 pounds. The freshman won all four matches by fall.
The Emporia Athlete of the Week is Michael Wendling. The sophomore bowler rolled a perfect game on Tuesday. He is just the second Spartan to accomplish that feat.
