Part of East Logan Avenue is getting blocked as part of a short-term, small-scale infrastructure project.
East Logan is closing to thru traffic from South Mechanic to South Commercial to replace a waterline valve. City Communications Manager Christine Torrens says water service will be affected temporarily. Residents are asked to follow posted detour routes as the project continues.
Work actually began Tuesday to replace at least one valve box. That project did not affect nearby water service.
