Playoff basketball gets underway next week in Boys 1A. KSHSAA released the Sub-State brackets on Wednesday.
In 1A Division 1, Olpe earned the top seed in the Clyde-Clifton Clyde HS Sub-State. The 19-2 Eagles await the winner of West Franklin and Centralia. Olpe will host the winner on February 28.
Burlingame received the ten seed in the same bracket. They travel to Clifton-Clyde on Monday, February 23.
In 1A Division 1, Madison was placed sixth in the Madison HS Sub-State. The Bulldogs open at home against Skyline on Monday, February 23.
In 1A Division 2, Hartford won’t have to travel as the top seed in their own Sub-State. The Jaguars, 18-3, will host the winner of St. Paul and Altoona Midway on February 28.
The Wolves of Lebo earned the two seed in the bottom half of the bracket. Lebo will welcome a Lyon County League foe in the second round on February 28 after receiving a bye. The winner of Marais des Cygnes Valley at Waverly on Monday, February 23 matches up with the Wolves.
