Emporia State freshman pitcher Hannah Butterbaugh picked up her first career MIAA Pitcher of the Week Award Monday. She tossed 18.2 innings and allowed just one run as the Lady Hornets went 4-1 last weekend at the Washburn Tournament. Butterbaugh finished the invite with a 0.38 ERA. She allowed just one extra-base hit in her four appearances. E-State (10-5) plays their final non-conference tournament at the Midwest Classic this weekend in Shawnee, Kan.
