One of Emporia’s dental options is closing its doors next month.
Emporia Family Dental at 1507 West 12th will permanently close March 20, as announced on social media Monday. A reason has not been divulged. Calls to the business go to voicemail.
Dental records will be retained for 10 years from the date of last service, in accordance with state regulations. Patients wanting copies can call 620-342-0673 or email omemporia@gen4dental.com to start the process.
The property is owned by Patton Real Estate Holdings in Lawrence. Calls to the contact listed through Lyon County records, Dr Jeff Larkin, go to voicemail.
Calls to Love My Nurse, a tenant next door, tell callers the number is no longer in service. Newman Regional Health is watching to see if steps are needed to move its Medical Equipment business if the building sells.
