Former Emporia State University Foundation administrator Shane Shivley is taking on a new role in a new city.
Shivley is headed to Manhattan, where he will be vice president for development at the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation. Shivley tells KVOE News several things came together in short order.
Shivley has been part of Emporia State University and the ESU Foundation for 20 years. He says the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation is well-established and is growing quickly.
Shivley is grateful for his time at ESU, including Foundation president and CEO and, most recently, senior director of special projects.
Shivley’s wife, Mary, will maintain her current positions as Emporia State’s Dean of the Honors College and Assistant Director of Admissions.
