No hospital transports came from a reported injury crash on the Kansas Turnpike southwest of Emporia early Tuesday.
Emporia Fire was among the responding agencies to mile marker 112, near the Flint Hills cattle pens exit and 15 miles southwest of the Emporia tollgate. Details about how the wreck transpired are pending. Emporia Fire says five people declined hospital trips after the wreck, which happened shortly before 6 am.

Emergency personnel and law enforcement are responding to a reported injury crash in southern Chase County.
Emporia Fire and the Kansas Highway Patrol were dispatched to the Kansas Turnpike mile marker 112 northbound, near the Flint Hills cattle pens exit and 15 miles southwest of the Emporia tollgate, just before 6 am. Early indications are one vehicle is involved. Additional details are currently pending.
