A Burlington semi driver was involved in an injury crash in Crawford County on Thursday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the wreck happened at the junction of US Highway 69 and Kansas Highway 47, just south of Franklin, shortly after 1 pm. Troopers say 59-year-old Michael Conner of Burlington was driving his semi southbound on US-69 and was turning east onto K-47. IN the process, Conner failed to stop at a red light. The semi hit the passenger side of an SUV driven by 63-year-old Theresa Martin of Cook, Minnesota.
Martin was taken to Girard Medical Center with suspected minor injuries. Conner was not hurt.
