Lebo advanced to next week’s 1A Division 2 state tournament with a 69 to 42 victory over McPherson Elyria Christian Friday in Hartford.
The Wolves lead 18 to 8 after 1. They kept the 10 point lead going into halftime. Elyria Christian came out of the halftime hot and cut the lead to one the first minute of the second half. After that Lebo outscored Elyria 18 to 4 to lead 47 to 28 after 3. The Wolves then Cruised to the 69 to 42 win.
Lebo had 8 players put some points on the board with 4 of them making double figures. Eli Konrade had 14, Brock Hadley had 12, Jett Edwards and Gerik Reber had 10 points each. Nathan Romero was the only Eagle in double figures with 14.
Dennis Becker said the win started by defending the three point arc.
Lebo will play Tuesday, but must wait for their opponent and location of their game.
