The Daily Station is expanding its operations later this year.
The Emporia food truck featuring different Hispanic items is adding a brick-and-mortar restaurant at 11 East Sixth, the previous home of Schrockbier Smokehouse BBQ — which has recently moved to 737 West Sixth and changed its name to The Smokehouse.
The Daily Station plans to start its restaurant operations by summer. A social media post hints at menu “surprises” as well as significant renovations to both the exterior and interior before opening.
